Consultancy

What is 3rd Generation Balanced Scorecard?

3rd Generation Balanced Scorecard (BSC3) is an evolution of the original Balanced Scorecard performance measurement framework proposed by Kaplan & Norton in 1992.

3rd Generation Balanced Scorecard designs are easier to develop and are seen by managers as being more useful than earlier Balanced Scorecard designs.

By emphasising the need for management team consensus about goals and priorities, and the need for effective management participation during the design process, 3rd Generation Balanced Scorecards help organisations to more effectively agree and implement their chosen strategies.
