2GC Active Management is a consulting company that specialises in Performance Management. We work with organisations to help them to develop Performance Management methods that allow their people to deal more effectively with the challenges of successfully selecting and implementing strategic goals. 2GC works for clients from the private, public, not-for-profit and NGO sectors. Recent projects have included work on strategic planning alignment, the design and implementation of 3rd Generation Balanced Scorecards, coaching and training in-house performance management teams, and the development of goal setting and incentive reward schemes for teams and individuals.

Highlights for August 2008

July was a busy month for 2GC - not only have we been working on client projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, but we have also been working hard on site updates for you to enjoy. There is too much new to list in detail - but the key developments this month are:

  • Two new case studies to read that together do a great job of illustrating the range of projects 2GC gets involved in. One describes a recent Strategic Performance Management project for an International NGO, the other describes a project for a major retail firm that looked at Employee Performance Management. You can get copies of both from the Resources area of this web site.
  • A new Management Brief on Balanced Scorecard Cascading. A difficult but important area of Balanced Scorecard design, and one in which 2GC has a world-class track record. As with all the materials you can download from this site, the management brief has been written in plain English by our own consulting team - and draws upon their considerable experience and knowledge. You can download this brief from the Resources area of this web site.
